Hardee's new fat bomb

Just saw a story on cnn.com - "The people who brought you the Monster Thickburger and the 1,100-calorie salad are at it again -- this time for breakfast."

What are dealing with here? It's the new Country Breakfast Burrito -- two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped up in a flour tortilla. The burrito contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat.

Now you can pave the way towards love handles and clogged arteries in one swoop - all for just $2.69.

I'm a personal trainer and let me tell you, nutrition is the secret ingredient no matter what your fitness goal is. I've seen too many weight loss clients work unbelievably hard with me, but there eating is subpar. There really is nothing good at fast food restaurants. The salads have very little key nutrients and too many preservatives, and like this post says, every other option is way too many calories. You think the burrito is bad, take a look at calorieking.com to see how much sodium, cholesterol, fat, and calories are in Burger King's Triple Whooper w/ cheese (1590 mg sodium, 275 mg cholesterol, 82 g fat, and 1230 calories)!

A major issue with fast food is what Israel commented: "I bet it tastes good"! The fast and processed food manufacturers know what they're doing to keep you coming back for more, to keep you spending your $$ on that great tasting, sugar and fat-filled, fast food.

Like Dan said, "there really is nothing good at fast food restaurants". If you instead get back to eating whole, real food, get off of the processed and fast food, you don't even need to worry about calories....and, just because you're eating healthy, doesn't mean that it doesn't taste good. At least, that's my experience. :)

Ohhh, just tell me where I can get this heavenly sounding breakfast concoction. Sounds like part of an ultimate binge for me. I mean why can't they come up with new healthy foods instead for fast food? All these new yummy creations are just too tempting for bulimics like me.

Also, I read that the average American now consumes around 3700 cals per day. No wonder the majority are overweight! I certainly didn't see that number in the chart you linked us to. And another blog criticized me for claiming that anyone eats "to much food." Well that looks like qualitative evidence to me!

What annoys me is that it's actually cheaper and more cost-efficienct to pay a burger than a simple drink. In fact most of the "healthier" stuff is significantly more expensive than the not so healthy stuff. I have to wonder how much healthier we would all be if veggies and fruits were cheaper than fries and burgers.

In response to these comments, it is more expensive for a fast food restaurant to make healthier options such as salads. The ingredients go bad quicker, which is why they are loaded down with preservatives, like Dan mentioned. In contrast, it's more cost effective to freeze meat, buns, condiments, etc. for a hamburger. In the end, it is always healthier to make your own food than buy on the go.

Is it gross that this looks delicious to me? Unfortunately, all fast food has been banned from my diet permanently. sigh.

Later my friends told me that if I want to play the game better I should go to earn the kal geons, so I was very quickly risen to thirty levels, and then I started to play the game alone.I spend a lot of kal gold to treat myself in this game. However she was also very sad when I was hurt, she was sorry about this to me and I did not complain her at last. I was very happy and we went to earn the kal online geons to equip us to become strong. Today I play the game again and I can get a lot of kal online gold for her, I take her to upgrade and then add her experience. I have a lot of kalonline Geons and I want to give her in the game.
