Blogging 'bout boobs
Boobs are everywhere - confronting me in magazines, staring at me from the TV, taunting me from giant billboards. But 99% of the time*, the images we see are those of surgically-enhanced or otherwise-altered breasts. How can the everyday woman know what the real deal looks like if "the norm" is a 36DD augmentation? (Other than spend five years in a locker room, interviewing people, of course. But I'm a freak.)
So, I present to you this Not Safe For Work (but totally non-sexual ) website which presents real women and real breasts in all their glory.

At first, you may think some of these chests look strange - one woman's leftie doesn't match her rightie; another has ski slopes despite two pregnancies; another has nipples the size of silver dollar pancakes. Well guess what, world? That's normal!!! We women are like beautiful snowflakes (*gag*) - different and unique in our own way. We've simply been conditioned to expect Playboy, when the reality is more National Geographic.
Enjoy - you may find yourself looking for a long while. Just warning ya.

That was a really interesting view to see the galleries of boobs of normal women. It made me feel less judgmental of my own.
I liked how they separated boobs from women who have been pregnant and ones who have not. Pregnancy most definitely brings enormous change. Losing and gaining a lot of weight affects the boobs too as well as big growth spurts. I have some stretch marks on my boobs from a huge growth spurt during high school. I went from an A cup to a C in what seemed like overnight. Over the years, I have stopped hating the stretch marks and learned to start accepting them as "life battle scars." To me, that is cool.
Haven't checked out the link yet, but on the topic of boobs, I'm glad this was brought up. We so need to feel less judgmental and more accepting of our boobies. They're wonderful in so many ways. They make us feel feminine and motherly and drive men crazy.
So keep them real, keep them healthy, show them off, get a great fitting bra and a not-so-comfy-but-super-sexy-lacy one and be happy to be a woman. We have much to be grateful for.
I hate that boobs get bigger and smaller with weight gain and loss. I used to have cute, normal sized Cs, now I'm bordering between D and DD. I hate them, I want my Cs back!!!
My fave part was reading what each person wrote about their breasts. It seems like no matter what your shape or size, there is some insecurity there. It definitely did make me feel better about my small A's (or non-boobs, as I'm in the habit of calling them).
I agree with Charlotte -- loved reading each individual write-up!
It's cool for me to losing my boobs too I will do it
