Red meat, ice cream and eggs, oh my!

Check out this article from Health on how some foods, commonly regarded as crappy for you, can actually be healthy. Women who lick up at least one serving of full-fat dairy products a day gain less weight than women who don't? Bring it on, Cold Stone!

This is excellent news! One of my favortie things to eat is an egg sandwich that my husband makes on Saturdays mornings. He uses a whole wheat English muffin with one egg, one slice of canadian bacon, and one slice of cheese. I'm pretty excited to learn that this hits three of the five foods on that list in one pop. Not to mention how excited I am about the red meat news. I love steak. While I am always looking for an excuse to eat ice cream, I was surprised the article didn't say to watch out for all the sugar in ice cream. That's as much as a problem as the fat.

Thank you for sharing this link with your readers. It's important that women feel safe in eating all foods. Once all foods are "legalized," women will be able to give up their unhealthy obessions with "healthy food."

Recently I started eating only grass-fed beef and what a difference in taste and experience. The meat is so tender and just tastes healthier (at least to me). Also, for the life of me I cannot give up cheese. Cheese is so delicious, and since I switched to eating cheeses made more naturally or with organic ingredients, Wow!
