I am so smart
I was doing this thing the other day called "surfing the web" - maybe you've heard of it? - and I found my way to a fitness website where the writer was posting about this free relaxation music people could downlowd to their MP3s. Very cool, I thought, but I don't have an MP3. I was in a write-y mood so I left a message that said something like, "Wow - I would love something like this but I'm tech-illiterate and only have an iPod, not an MP3. Boo."
This, clearly, was before I knew an iPod is an MP3!! How did I find this out? Oh, because the guy who writes the blog actually contacted me (I left my web site) and said, in a joking manner, "Whoa - you really are tech-illiterate! An MP3 player is the same thing as an iPod."
Hey - I didn't go to grad school for nothing! Don't hate the player...hate the game.

For a second there I thought you were going to tell us that he *sent* you an mp3 player and then I was going to get all jealous and call you out yoga-teacher style for being a leggy blonde. But... then I remembered this is the Internet so he doesn't know you from the 45-year-old "resident" of the Cal-State Pen who also goes by the name Leslie;)
So was the relaxation music any good?? If so, gonna share the link with us?

Every time I'd look at that and think "Hmmm... doesn't look much like her pic on her book jacket. She should def. go back to blonde." Don't worry though - I'm okay now.

totally laughed out loud as were my hubby on in (finger quote) the industry (unFQ) Id have no clue what an mp3 was!

I have one of the iPod shuffles that is just buttons, no screen. When I use the hubby's real iPod, I get so confused trying to work it that I usually give up. I too am quite tech illiterate!

Um, yea...I'm with charlotte and MizFit...I didn't really think it looked like you, but it never occurred to me that it could be someone else...
