For all you Biggest Loser fans out there...
I may have been pulling a prank when I said Paris Hilton was guest blogging, but I'm totally serious about this: Next week, I'll be interviewing Bette-Sue and Ali,mother-daughter duo from The Biggest Loser. They are fabulous, inspiring women and I think this will be a cool opportunity for all of us to learn about those insane workouts, the challenges, the big weigh-ins, being on TV and the physical/emotional/public health aspects of being overweight in general.
Got a Question for Bette-Sue and Ali? Submit your questions here...I'll be picking a handful of the best for Bette Sue and Ali to answer. Then check back the day of The Biggest Loser finale, April 15, to read the interview and see if your question was chosen...and what their answers are!

Yea! I love them, and Ali is my fav of the remaining people!
Yay!! That's awesome!! I'm pulling for Ali and I was so upset when they were sent home. I'll have to come up with something good. :)
that is so awesome! I love the BL, and my burning question is ---is Ali the BL??!!
ok, one more question:
what do they think of all the product placement this year, like do they really like (and eat) the oatmeal?
ok, well I haven't seen that season of Biggest Loser yet because I'm in Chile and we're like 10 seasons behind, but I want to know, what was the hardest part of doing biggest loser physically and what was the hardest part of doing the show mentally?
How exciting that you get to interview them! Very cool!!!
Ooh, super cool! I am stunned by Ali's determination and results. She's a total rock star.
I want to know this, more than anything else: being back home now, and presumably probably watching the show, is Ali ever completely shocked by the way events are edited, and what is presented to the viewers? And just how different is what we see from what really goes on, because of the heavy editing? And does that ever make her angry?
That's three questions really. Sorry. It's late, I'm really unfocused. But enquiring minds really do want to know...
V.
Who do Ali and Bette Sue keep in touch with from the show, if anyone?
How hard has it been to change your life style and how hard was it to keep positive when you wanted to quit?
looks like I need to watch MORE tv---who knew?
me? I wanna get an interview with the guy who goes fancy apt to fancy apt in manhattan teaching the silverspoon set breakdancing (did you see that?).
PRICELESS.
YES YES YES I HAVE A QUESTION I AM DYING TO KNOW! I want to know if they are allowed to listen to music in any form when they are working out. I cannot imagine not listening to something. It really pumps me up and gives me energy when I don't think I have anymore. Thanks!
Is it too late to ask a Q? This is the first year I've watched BL and I def got addicted... I noticed in one episode recently Ali was still having trouble wearing sleeveless shirts as she still felt like she had big arms, while everyone else thought she looked great... the question is, after all the weight is lost, what is she doing to improve her own image of herself, in order to see in the mirror what we all already see....
I am hooked on the BL and love the transformation Ali has gone through, as well as all of the other contestants. I'm following Weight Watchers and am seeing positive results. I'd like to know if Ali has any good advice she's learned for toning exercises that those of us in the audience can follow to achieve results like hers. While we see clips of the contestants working out, which exercises have helped her the most? What do we do to firm up those areas where we lose the weight but gravity kicks in? Ali's results are simply amazing and inspirational! If she can look that great after such a dramatic weight loss, I know the rest of us can too - and it doesn't take expensive, risky surgery! Hope she gets a chance to answer and share what she's learned. Thanks!
My son turned me on to "Biggest Loser Couples" in the beginning, because I'm not a TV person. Now I'm a fan for sure! I cry with them and share their joys. It's hard to believe the changes that have taken place with all of them. Ali is amazing! What an incredible person, with a beautiful smile!
Is this where we ask Ali questions? My question is simple. Ali, you are already so thin at 5'5 and 135 lbs. How much more weight can you possibly lose in order to become the first female Biggest Loser (which I do believe is an accomplishment you will achieve). I've watched every episode of The Biggest Loser (since it began) and I am in complete awe of you-a woman-breaking records-losing more percentage of weight than the guys (when guys naturally lose weight easier than women). Before tonight, I would not have thought it possible that you could lose 11 lbs in week 15 and kelly could lose 13. I'd believe it could happen in other weeks, but not the very last week! Do you even comprehend how inspirational you are to so many overwight women out here? Do you know how hard we will cheer if you actually win this season's finale and become the first ever female Biggest Loser?
I love them!
The question I have is: Are they allowed "free time" to go out and shop for clothes? For instance, every time they win a trip for a challenge, or have to go home, they are wearing clothes that obviously did not fit them in the beginning of the season. So do they go shopping for clothes, or are they delivered, or what?
:) Thanks!
