Mazel tov - you're correct! I am all about pictures of myself lately and now I have a super sexy one for you all to cut out and tape up, NKOTB-style, above your beds:

Actually, what you're looking at is a shot of my punim (look it up) before and after I altered it using LiftMagic, "the world's most advanced visual face processing studio." Yes, I totally stole the idea from Steph at Back In Skinny Jeans and no, I am not ashamed to admit it.

So, let's break this down, shall we? I used the Nose Reduction, Lip Augmentation and, just for flips and giggles, the Weight Reduction function.

Whaddyouthink? I my have overdone things a bit, as my chin looks pointer than a pair of Gwyneth Paltrow's stilettos.
But I must say (as I hang my head and genuflect to the gods of hypocrisy), I think my nose looks kinda good. My lips were already kissably lucious, and I don't know why my teeth turn all horsey in the After pic.

Feedback, please? Is it time to call Dr. Rey from Dr. 90210? (I kid, I kid.)

I can honestly say - the real thing is way better in every way! Very funny though...

I much prefer the before.

The after definitely has that gross plastic surgery look/feel about it -- everything pulled too tight, too narrow, etc.

As stated above, i think your before pic is world's better. And i actually think your nose is better in the before also. Its stange, both my parents have huge noses but i admit mine is fairly small. Some people pride on their butt or boobs, i like my nose. Btw, since i live in la and all, my dentist is in the same building as that Dr. Rey guy and i saw him once getting into his Jag. He's so weird looking! he had highlights and i swear he was wearing masacara!

I'm often curious about those sort of sites that will preview a new hairstyle or virtually try on a pair of jeans for you or whatever--but then I realize I'm far too lazy to come up with a picture and fiddle with things, so I've never satisfied my curiosity. Thanks for being a guinea pig.

Yeah. I'm on the before picture bandwagon.

When trying on new glasses today. The tech took pictures of me w/ my choices so I could narrow it down. Each photo looked progressively more like a mug shot. I went with the tortoise shell mugshot w/ th rhinestones.

Yeah, much better in the before. The nose looks weird on your face in the after pic. The lips I can't tell a difference.

I've had a rhinoplasty and have lip implants and they enhanced my appearance, but I guess it's not for everybody

I swear, I had the same reaction to Steph's photo - it just looks like vaseline has been smudged all over the picture!

I'm with Crabby! (And much prefer the before shot:)).

I'm sad that the face-smudging website exists, but all it does is reaffirm for me that a person's natural beauty is ALWAYS better than the man-made kind. People with plastic surgery always end up looking a little weird if you ask me. Maybe not right away, but eventually they all do.

Leslie, don't give in to society's pressure to have a nose that probably wouldn't even allow adequate airflow to climb a flight of stairs. :)
