I think we're supposed to turn clocks back Saturday night, not Friday!
This comment has little to do with Halloween but I had to share. I was in the gym and I heard two guys talking and one said that he had lost five pounds. His buddy asked him if he was on a diet. The guy immediately said, "No." Then he paused and said, "actually, I'm just eating less." I thought that exchange telling for a number of reasons. One, his first reaction was to deny he was on a diet--too girly? A "guys don't diet" mentality? Then when he clarified his initial denial, he simply said he was eating less. Women on diets could rattle off 100 things they can and can't eat on a diet while a guy simply eats less. Finally, the conversation ended there. No probing, no "how much more weight do you want drop?" No, "You should avoid carbs, or fats, blah blah blah."
Sorry for the rambling comment, just thought that exchange was fascinating for all of those reasons. As women, that mentality is foreign to, I would think, the majority of us.

I'm not sure I ate any real food today, after breakfast. Ah, well. Happy Halloween!
I have two words. Dark Chocolate. Two more. Dum-Dums. Two more. Almond Joy. I think if I eat anymore candy I will be sick. I raided my nephews stash and also the basket that was supposed to be for the kids. Oh well. I'm really a kid at heart.
